Sarah Pidgeon is an actress known for her work in television and theater, including her breakout role in The Wilds and her portrayal of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy in American Love Story. Pidgeon spent her childhood in Michigan, where she developed an interest in acting and attended Interlochen Arts Camp during the summer. She went on to attend Carnegie Mellon University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in drama before beginning her professional career.

After appearing in stage productions, Pidgeon made the transition to television with guest roles on shows including One Dollar and Gotham. She later landed her breakout part as Leah Rilke in the Prime Video series The Wilds, which premiered in 2020. Her performance introduced her to a wider audience and helped establish her as one of Hollywood’s rising actresses. She continued to build her résumé with roles in films including Lazareth (2024) and I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025).

Pigeon later appeared in Tiny Beautiful Things opposite Kathryn Hahn and was cast as Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy in Ryan Murphy’s Love Story, which chronicles the relationship between John F. Kennedy Jr. and Bessette. Her stage work has also earned recognition, including a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her performance in Stereophonic.

Pidgeon has kept her personal life largely private. In 2026, she began dating actor Joe Alwyn.
