In May 2013, Amanda Bynes posed for her mugshot in a giant blonde wig that was skewed to the side before she was required to take a second mugshot with only her newly-shaved head. Six months later, a much healthier Bynes, 27, was spotted with new blonde locks that looked like her actual hair on Dec. 22 while shopping in Los Angeles.

The troubled former actress wore pink and purple Nikes, grey fitted jeans, and a loose-fitted long sleeve floral and polka dot shirt, and shades.

Bynes was released from rehab earlier this month after being treated for mental illness for four months. The She's the Man star has remained tight-lipped about her post-rehab plans, but she has expressed an interest in going to school for fashion design.

It's been a tough year for Bynes, whose meltdown was broadcast live to her millions of Twitter followers as she ranted about stars being "ugly" and posted disturbing selfies featuring her shaved head and cheek piercings.

Things got even worse in  May 2013, when she threw a bong out of the window of her 36th-floor apartment, and in July 2013 she set fire to a stranger's driveway. She was later placed under a 5150 hold and sent to rehab.

Following her December release, the star seems to be doing well.
