Beauty school dropout?

When Us Weekly visited the set of her new series, Tisdale, 29, said, “The fact that Clipped takes place in a barbershop, I felt like I was literally meant to do this show, because I’ve spent, like, the last 10 years in salons—so long!”

She then made a confession: “I think I’m a frustrated hairdresser deep down. I just love doing my own hair.” (Can you imagine a world where Tisdale went to beauty school instead of improv camp? Let’s never speak of it again.)

Amusing life crises aside, it seems that Tisdale has truly found her support system, which includes her husband, Christopher French, who attends every single taping of Clipped. “My whole family comes, every week—except for my sister, because she’s home with my niece,” the Suite Life of Zack & Cody alum told Us. “Emily Osment [who stars in the Tisdale-produced Young & Hungry] came last time, and she was like, ‘Oh my God, does your husband come every week?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, he actually does! They’re all really supportive.”

The blonde beauty also dished on how she and her HSM costars—including Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, and Corbin Bleu—have managed to stay so close. “We all went through something together that was pretty amazing and life-changing,” Tisdale explained. “We weren’t really prepared for all of the things that happened, so it bonded us forever—we’re family. I love creating families on set, because you get to be with each other all the time. That’s why I’ve loved doing it since I was a child.”
