New Jersey native Ashley Tisdale, born in 1985, spent her childhood starring in dozens of commercials after being discovered at age three in a shopping mall.
Tisdale is now best known for her role as spoiled high school student Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical movies, a role she landed after playing Maddie Fitzpatrick on the Disney Channel’s The Suite Life of Zack & Cody for three years.
The success of the HSM film franchise has kick started Tisdale’s career as a recording artist; her first album debuted at number five on the Billboard 200. Tisdale is ranked tenth on Maxim’s “Hot 100” list of 2008 and 94th on Forbes’s “Celebrity 100” list.
Tisdale got engaged to musician Christopher French in 2013 after one year of dating. They tied the knot in 2014. Six years later, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child. Their daughter, Jupiter, arrived in March 2021.
