Biography:

While audiences know the host from Watch What Happen Live With Andy Cohen, the Missouri native started his career behind the camera.

After graduating from Boston University with a journalism degree, Cohen kicked off his career at with a decade at CBS, working his way up to being a senior producer on The Early Show and producing CBS This Morning and 48 Hours.

In 2004, Cohen made the move to Bravo as vice president of original programming. He was a producer on Top Chef and Project Runway, but fans know he truly turned a page in his career with the 2006 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County. The executive producer soon started hosting reunions, becoming a face for the franchise, and expanding the show to cities across the U.S.

The Most Talkative author started hosting Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Bravo in 2009, making him the first openly gay late-night host.

Cohen welcomed son Benjamin Allen Cohen in 2019 via surrogate.
