Hannah Brown

Hannah Brown was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. After high school, she enrolled in the University of Alabama and became a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in communications in 2017 and went on to work as an interior designer.

Brown started competing in pageants at the age of 15. She competed against her future Bachelor castmate Hannah Godwin in Miss Alabama USA in 2017, a year before Brown won the title. She also competed in Miss USA 2018, but did not place. She used her platform to help people suffering from depression and anxiety.

Brown vied for Colton Underwood’s love on season 23 of The Bachelor in 2018. She finished in seventh place and was subsequently named the lead for The Bachelorette season 15. She got engaged to Jed Wyatt on the show, but broke up with him after hearing conflicting stories about his past relationship. During the live finale, Brown reunited with her runner-up, Tyler Cameron, and asked him out on a date. After their brief reconciliation, Cameron had a nearly two-month fling with Gigi Hadid.

Brown competed on season 28 of Dancing With the Stars from September 2019 to November 2019. By the season’s end, she won the Mirror Ball trophy alongside her partner, Alan Bersten. Right after her Dancing With the Stars victory, she received “The Competition Contestant of 2019” award at the 45th People’s Choice Awards.

Brown sparked reconciliation rumors with ex-suitor Peter Weber during his season of The Bachelor, which premiered in January 2020. Though the pair never got back together, she sparked dating rumors with Cameron again in March 2020 when they quarantined together along with friends during the coronavirus pandemic.
