Ben Higgins captured viewers’ hearts as the second runner-up on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season 11 of The Bachelorette in 2015. Higgins was chosen as the leading man for season 20 of The Bachelor, which premiered in January 2016.

Higgins ultimately proposed to Lauren Bushnell on his season finale, sending home runner-up JoJo Fletcher. Higgins and Bushnell called it quits in May 2017 following their brief spinoff series Ben and Lauren, Happily Ever After?

Higgins moved on with Jessica Clarke, whom he married in November 2021. The pair welcomed daughter Winona in 2025. The next year, Higgins and Clarke shared that they are expecting their second baby. He cohosts the “The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast” with Ashley Iaconetti.
