Christina Anstead (née Haack) is the host of HGTV’s Flip or Flop with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa. She was born in Orange County, California and went to college in Southern California before she started a career in real estate, which is how she met El Moussa. The couple — who ran the real estate company Tarek and Christina: The El Moussa Group until their split in 2016 — share two children: daughter Taylor Reese and son Brayden James.
Anstead and El Moussa filed for divorce after eight years of marriage in 2016, citing “irreconcilable differences.” They continue to film Flip or Flop, which premiered in 2013. In June 2018, HGTV announced that Anstead would be receiving her own Flip or Flop spin-off series, Christina on the Coast, which featured her renovating other people’s homes, as well as documented her life post-divorce. The show premiered in May 2019.
In December 2018, the HGTV host married English TV presenter Ant Anstead at their home in Newport Beach, California after a year of dating. Subsequently, she changed her name from Christina El Moussa to Christina Anstead. The couple announced on Instagram in March 2019 that they were expecting their first child together, a baby boy.
