Biography:

Nick Cannon began performing at the age of eight, eventually forming the rap group Da Bomb Squad and opening for acts like Will Smith, LFO, 98 Degrees and Montell Jordan.

After graduating from high school, Cannon landed a role on Nickelodeon’s All That. Later, he was awarded his own series, The Nick Cannon Show.

Film wise, Cannon starred in 2002’s Drumline, 2003’s Love Don’t Cost a Thing and 2008’s Day of the Dead as his career continued to soar.

The TV personality made headlines in the summer of 2020 for making anti-Semitic remarks during an episode of his “Cannon’s Class” podcast. ViacomCBS fired Cannon in the wake of the scandal after working with him for years on Wild ‘n Out. He was, however, able to remain as the host of Fox’s The Masked Singer after issuing a public apology for his remarks.

In April 2008, the actor married singer Mariah Carey. The pair welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe in 2011, before calling it quits in 2016. Cannon became a father again in 2017 when he and Brittany Bell welcomed their son Golden. The duo later added to their brood with the birth of daughter Powerful in 2020 and son Rise in September 2022.

The former America’s Got Talent host turned heads in June 2021 when he revealed that he welcomed twins Zillion and Zion with Abby De La Rosa the same month his son Zen, who died in December 2021, was born to Alyssa Scott. He welcomed son Legendary with Bre Tiesi in July 2022 and daughter Onyx with LaNisha Cole in September 2022. Cannon and De La Rosa welcomed their third child, Beautiful Zeppelin, in November 2022. He is currently expecting his 3rd child with Scott, his 12th overall.
