Blake Lively

Born on August 25, 1987, in Tarzana, California, Blake Lively is no stranger to the entertainment industry. Her mother, Elaine, works as a talent manager and her late father, Ernie, was an actor-director. Lively has four siblings: an older brother, Eric (born 1981), and three half-siblings from her mother’s previous marriage, Lori (born 1966), Robyn (born 1972) and Jason (born 1985).

Since her breakout role in The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants in 2005, the actress has seen success on the small screen, starring in the CW series Gossip Girl — a prime-time drama that explored the lives of teens living on the Upper East Side of New York City — from 2007 to 2012. Lively costarred alongside Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester and former beau Penn Badgley.

The People’s Choice Award winner returned to the big screen in 2015 with her role in The Age of Adeline before going on to star in the horror-comedy The Shallows one year later. She then garnered critical acclaim for her role in 2018’s A Simple Favor. 

In November 2021, Lively made her directorial debut as the cowriter and director of Taylor Swift’s music video for “I Bet You Think About Me.”

After splitting from Badgley in 2010, Lively dated actor Leonardo DiCaprio in the spring of 2011. Following their breakup she met future husband and costar Ryan Reynolds on the set of The Green Lantern in 2010. The twosome tied the knot in September 2012 and share three daughters: James, Inez and Betty.

In September 2022, Lively confirmed that she is expecting her fourth child while showing off her baby bump at an event.
