Kelly Ripa

Soap fans took notice of Kelly Ripa for her role on All My Children, but much of America first met the actress when she took over for Kathie Lee Gifford on the Live with Regis and Kathie Lee morning talk show in 2001, which then became Live with Regis and Kelly.

Ripa continued to host the program in various formats after Regis Philbin’s retirement, sharing the gig with Ryan Seacrest from 2017 until he announced his exit in 2023. Ripa’s husband, Mark Consuelos, was named as Seacrest’s replacement.

The media personality wed her All My Children costar in 1996. The pair share three children: sons Michael and Joaquin, born in 1997 and 2003, respectively, and daughter Lola, born in 2001.
