Andy Cohen poked fun at his own relationship.
Cohen, 58, joked about the 16-year age gap between him and his boyfriend, Kevin Sobieski, during a Wednesday, July 8, episode of Watch What Happens Live. During a segment, a fan asked guest Georgia McCann what her thoughts were on her Next Gen NYC costar Ava Dash “canoodling” with Kyle Cooke, who is 17 years older than her.
“Oh, um, I don’t know,” McCann, 28, replied. “I have suspicion it might be, like, securing a season 3 contract moment, because when does a woman hook up with a man 18 plus years older for anything?”
The camera then cut to Cohen, who was taking a sip of his drink. “Don’t put the camera on me!” he playfully said while shaking his head. Cohen then covered his face with a card before clarifying, “I’m only in a 16-year age-gap relationship.”
Cohen confirmed his relationship with Sobieski, 42, earlier on Thursday, sharing on an episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live that they first connected at a friend’s Fourth of July party in 2025.
“I have to say, it’s been so easy. Eleven months, we’ve not had one fight,’ Cohen gushed. “We haven’t had a disagreement. We just view life the same way. And one year later, I still can’t believe I found him.”

He also gushed that Sobieski “loves” his kids, Ben, 7, and Lucy, 4.
While Cohen initially shared that he wasn’t planning to announce his relationship until their one-year anniversary, photos started circulating of the duo holding hands in New York City.
Cohen initially teased his relationship with Sobieski while chatting with Alex Cooper during an October 2025 podcast of her “Call Her Daddy” podcast. At the time, he said that he and Sobieski had been on “some dates,” noting that his typical type is someone who is “strong, independent, smart” and “handsome.”
In June 2024, Cohen exclusively opened up to Us Weekly about being a dad, sharing that the toughest thing about solo parenting for him is “Being the good cop and bad cop all in one person.”
“But I also think having kids late in life has suited me well. I’m better at not taking everything on,” he said. (Cohen welcomed Ben in 2019 when he was 50, and Lucy in 2022, when he was 53.)
When it comes to if his kids are aware that they have a famous dad, Cohen doesn’t “think” they know yet.
“[Ben] knows which of my friends are famous. He’s seen a bit of [my] New Year’s Eve [live shows], so he must know that Anderson [Cooper] is on TV, and we’ve seen Kelly [Ripa] on the TV in taxis,” Cohen said. “He thinks everyone has a show. He doesn’t know any better!”
