Short for the winter! Emma Watson chopped off her long locks on Tuesday, Dec. 8, in favor of a cropped bob hairstyle.

The Harry Potter alum, 25, debuted her new tousled tresses, which are longer in the front and shorter in the back, while attending a screening for the documentary The True Cost in London.

Watson's hair is a dramatic change from the long locks she sported previously, but going short is nothing new for the Bling Ring actress, who first rocked a pixie cut in 2010.

"If I had my way, I would have just kept it short forever," she told Glamour in September 2012 of her pixie. "Of course, men like long hair. There's no two ways about it. The majority of the boys around me were like, 'Why did you do that? That's such an error.' And I was like, 'Well, honestly, I don't really care what you think!' I've never felt so confident as I did with short hair — I felt really good in my own skin."

The UN Goodwill ambassador showed off her fresh cut with a selfie featuring Colin Firth's wife, Livia Firth, on Instagram. "Love her! privilege to host a screening of The True Cost with @livia_firth, Andrew Morgan, and Lucy Siegle tonight. Watch at truecostmovie.com or on @netflix," she wrote.
