She’s fond of blonde! Before her husband, Justin Theroux, took the stage to present an award (and Aniston told another attendee to “move” out of the way so she could see his moment), Jennifer Aniston brightened up the red carpet at the Critics’ Choice Awards 2016 in Santa Monica on Sunday, January 17, in piecey blonde highlights that reminded Us of her Friends days.
The Cake actress, 46, who married Theroux in August 2015, attended the awards show wearing a stunning dove-gray Saint Laurent gown with a ruffled detail at the top. Her face-framing blonde streaks gave her a radiant glow (reminiscent of the time she and then-love Brad Pitt got matching highlights for their 2000 wedding).
Aniston debuted the lighter hair color via celeb makeup artist Gucci Westman‘s Instagram on January 16. “Love these two so much @mrchrismcmillan #Jen Aniston,” Westman wrote at the time, tagging Aniston’s BFF and hairstylist, Chris McMillan.
Aniston’s glowing appearance was also thanks in part to her Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation, which celeb makeup artist Angela Levin applied in dots and blended. “To make her cheekbones luminous, I layered Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Fluid over RCMA cream blush,” Levin said. “To complete her look I applied Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo Complete Care Lipshine in Script.”
