Bold beauty!
Jennifer Lopez generally sticks to clean makeup (give or take a few passes of the bronzer), but she opted for a throwback makeup look for the American Idol XIV Finalist party on Wednesday, March 11, in Los Angeles.
The singing competition judge, 45, hit the red carpet wearing frosty blue eyeshadow that really popped against her tanned skin. On top of the retro shadow befitting Betty Draper, she rimmed her lids with black eyeliner and piled on the mascara.
The “Booty” singer’s risky makeup choice complemented the light blue detail in her super-short Marchesa Notte white dress with gold ribbon embroidery. Lopez accessorized the look with a white clutch, nude suede Casadei pumps, Vita Fede earrings, and of course her incredibly toned legs.
The mom of 7-year-old twins Max and Emme recently responded to critics of her image. “I’m not allowed to be sexy because I’m a mom?” she told Complex magazine for the February/March 2015 issue. “It’s like how do you think I got my children?”
