This is how they see themselves! Celebrities with the world's biggest social media imprints including Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez, and Selena Gomez submitted their self-portraits to Interview magazine for its September 2015 #ME issue, and some of the results were (surprise!) very racy.
Along with the previously mentioned names, the magazine is circulating eight alternative covers starring Victoria Beckham, Madonna, Zayn Malik, and one part of world-famous fashion photography duo Mert Alas.
"We invited each subject to use this opportunity to create something powerful and personal: the utmost expression of themselves," Editor-in-Chief Keith Pollock said about the portraits. "We definitely encouraged them to push the limits, but we weren't interested in steering them in any way. Our aim was to allow them to create an image that reflects the way the subjects see themselves. And the way they want to be seen."
For the themed issue, self-proclaimed selfie queen Kardashian, 34, poses topless in bed, showing off her ample cleavage.
In her self-portrait, a gorgeous Lopez, 46, wears a body-hugging black leotard that accentuates her coveted curves. The BodyLab founder holds her iPhone against a mirror as she reclines against a luxurious fur blanket.
2015 MTV VMAs host Cyrus, 22, who sported several near-naked looks during the live broadcast, captures herself in a white T-shirt that's lifted up with her teeth to expose her chest.
Queen of pop Madonna, 57, opts for a gothic, black outfit that conceals her hot body. The Material Girl, who also sports pigtails and a rosary, gives the camera a menacing stare, looking like she stepped straight off the set of a horror movie.
Photographer Alas, meanwhile, wears grills and gives the camera a sexy stare-down. It looks like he's FaceTiming with Cyrus, who toys with a bandana in the bottom left corner of the cover.
Gomez, 23, shows a crazy side to herself on the cover, gritting her teeth playfully.
Former One Direction member Malik, 22, poses topless in bed and looks at the camera with a bored expression on his face. Not pictured? His former bandmates.
Last, but certainly not least -- former Spice Girl and fashion icon Beckham, 41, pulls her family into her self-portrait. The mom of four takes a wide selfie that features her hunky hubby David Beckham in the background, and their eldest son Brooklyn. The former soccer stud and Brooklyn both play with their phones, and little Harper is seen in the bottom left corner of the cover.
