Not here for it. Kylie Jenner has responded to the “F” rating that the Better Business Bureau recently gave to her makeup company, Kylie Cosmetics. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star took to her app on Wednesday, July 6, to address the situation to her fans.
“I’ve sold millions of lip kits and any complaint we’ve received to date has been addressed in a timely manner. I’m sick and tired of people coming for my business. I love everything about Kylie Cosmetics and I will do anything in my power to protect and improve it every day and make you guys happy,” Jenner, 18, wrote.
“I don’t want to respond to the haters but you guys deserve an answer and to know the facts,” she continued. “I love you and apologize to anyone who felt the urge to complain and didn’t receive the service they deserve.”
As previously reported, several reasons factored into the BBB’s low score for the company behind the $29 lip kits. The organization stated that there were at least 133 customer complaints last year with grievances over delivery issues and problems with the actual product. Following the review, the BBB changed its “F” score to a “No Rating.” According to its website, the BBB is overlooking information about Kylie Cosmetics’ size and operations and will give another rating after the “current review is complete.”
Jenner is trying to stay positive amid the bad press. “You guys are the reason I keep going and I’m motivated every day to make Kylie Cosmetics the best it can be,” she wrote Wednesday. “I’m continuing to learn and I just want to make everyone happy. Because so many of you spoke out, I’m excited to tell you that the Better Business Bureau has looked at the facts and changed the rating.”
