After numerous stints in rehab, Charlie Sheen is about to receive some specialized care -- and he doesn't even have to leave the house to get it.

The 45-year-old actor -- who was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday after two days of nonstop partying -- will be receiving in-home care for his addiction issues.

"He's getting treatment done at home," a source tells UsMagazine.com of the troubled TV star. "He's doing rehab there." (A TMZ source confirms that Sheen is being treated at home.)

"In compliance with the national health privacy laws (HIPPA), no further information relating to Charlie Sheen's health or his rehab experience will be released without his written permission," his rep tells Us in a statement. "I can say that all of us who know Charlie care about him very much. We will support him in any we can in this journey, beginning by respecting his privacy."

The Two and a Half Men actor's rep previously told Us on Friday that the decision to get help was made "voluntarily" and that Sheen "is most grateful to all who have expressed their concern."

As a result of Sheen's current situation, Two and a Half Men was placed on a production hiatus Friday.

Didn't he try that just a few short months ago??? What do porn stars charge for in-home "re-hab". I agree, he's selfish. What a legacy he will leave his kids.

Party Hearty Charlie!, You only have a short time left. It's a wonder that after 20 + years of booze & drugs that your still around! Yeah, I can see it now "TV show 2 1/2 Men canceled due to death in the family" Hundreds of cast & crew out of work! Thousands of porn stars out of work! Martin Sheen will lead protest march somewhere, soon. TBA Sheen's body will self cremate at Forest Lawn tomorrow at 12:00 pm PST.

I can't even. Are doctors and nurses moving into his home 24/7 to make sure that at night when he's alone he doesn't call his dealer? "At home rehab" sounds about as effective as quitting drinking on New Year's Eve while holding a glass of champagne. Can't even fathom the amount of special treatment this guy can buy.

In-home rehab? Really?! This is a very talented man who will not live to see his true potential. He doesn't want or doesn't believe he needs help. If he did, he'd be in an intense, inpatient program.

Absolutely ridiculous. Note to all media outlets: Start writing his obituary now, because you'll be needing it soon. He is a selfish, stupid man.
