Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are "taking a break," a source tells UsMagazine.com. The two announced their engagement in February 2009.

Bilson, 28, flashed a ringless finger to Us on the red carpet of the THQ/Take No Prisoners event in L.A. Wednesday night. When asked how wedding plans were going, she said, "No, no plans" and pointed to her bare hand. "No nothing."

The source says the couple -- who co-starred in 2008 action flick Jumper -- are "taking about a month off" and will then revisit their relationship to decide if they should stay together.

What a joke! I can't believe Hayden was ever even with Rachel. He can do so much better. She can't act and she's just not that attractive. I saw her in person once and she looks like a midget. Also, her ass is kind of fat. Definitely not movie star material. Hayden should be with like a supermodel, or an actress who is truly beautiful, who actually has talent, and doesn't seem out of place when she is standing next to him. I'm so happy that they are finally over. Please find someone more in your league this time Hayden. You so deserve it.

Perhaps it's true what people have been saying for a long time - this was a relationship for PR only and it was never real. I think Rachel in particular is the one who wanted the PR since she is less famous than Hayden and needed it more. But there are some who suspect Hayden is gay and that this was a bearding relationship for him.
