It's been four months since Jenna Fischer gave birth, and like most new moms, The Office star is struggling to get her pre-baby body back.

"Let me please stand in solidarity with all of the women who are not a size 2 six weeks after leaving the hospital," the 37-year-old told Us Weekly at the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in L.A. Sunday. "I thought, you read all of the stuff in magazines like, 'Oh, I breastfed my baby and I am so skinny now.' I am breast-feeding my baby and I am not getting any skinnier!"

"I think I'm just going to be a little bit bigger for a little bit longer," Fischer said, "and that's fine with me."

The Office star wore a custom-made dress by Max Azria Atelier, which "made me look the smallest I could possibly look right now after just having had a baby," she told Us.

Fischer, who married screenwriter Lee Kirk on July 3, 2010, said motherhood has changed her in ways she never imagined. "I love being a family. I love going from two people to three people, and it has deepened the bond between me and my husband. We love being together, the three of us. Our little unit."

The new mom added that she was excited to get all dolled up for the star-studded event. "It took a special occasion for us to leave at first, but we have a babysitter that we really trust now, so I feel like because of that, tonight we can really relax and have fun," Fischer told Us. "We'll check in and make sure Weston gets to bed OK."

not all celebs are able to get a tummy tuck after delivery because of certain complications they had during pregnancy that may have lingered after delivery eleveated blood preassure slipped disc/hernia gestational diabetes ect. not all womens matoblisms speed up while nursing either Jenna seems to fall into that catagory. nor is she a huge star like Patricia Neal was back in the day of course with two of her kids she either had to quit nursing early due to an accident the child had gotten in or because she was partially parallized from strokes she'd had while pregnant.

Its so nice to see another mom (let alone a celebrity) who has breastfed and didn't lose any weight, while doing so. So many bfing advocates strive on filling new moms heads with this fantasy that we'll be back to our normal pre-baby bodies just by breastfeeding. Not all of us are that lucky! Thank you Jenna for being one celeb to put out there that you're still struggling with the post baby weight. It makes those of us in the same position feel a little better about our bodies.

I think this is one of those issues where one can not assume that their experiences will be anything like someone else's. We all have different genes, medical histories, and day-to-day lives, which means that our bodies will respond differently to pregnancy, childbirth, and the post-partum period. This is one of those things where instead of being catty and judgmental towards each other, we need to stand in solidarity together as women and not let society ridicule the body of a mother.

I think it does depend on every woman.... I took care of myself before the pregnancy, ate very healthy and exercised at least 3 times a week and I still have not lost any of the weight... I'm breastfeeding exclusively and no pounds are dropping :(

I dropped the weight right away with my first two. The last two were a little harder. I really think it all depends on how well you take care of yourself BEFORE you have the baby

Sometimes the weight melts off when you're breastfeeding, and sometimes it doesn't. Every woman is different and not every woman's story is the same. MOST people don't look like Jessica Alba 6 weeks after having a baby. If you did, kudos to you. You're lucky.
