If you still haven't picked up all your presents, you're not alone. On any trip to the mall, you'll be among similarly fraught people trying to check off their lists before all the gifts need to be stacked under the tree.
But unlike the rest of of those shoppers, you don't have to make your holiday shopping trip hectic, stressful, and fast-food-filled. We asked Jennifer Aniston's go-to yoga guru Mandy Ingber to tell us what she packs in her purse to ensure that she stays healthy, happy, and stress-free during this hectic shopping season. Read on for her advice and recommendations, and get more tips from other experts here!
Ingber knows that the trick to having a good shopping day is staying stress-free. She shared the bag essentials that keep her energy up and nerves unfrazzled.
Beat the stress: Ingber recommends you carry Siddatech Flower Essence Sprays ($19.95 each, siddatech.com), "Especially Relief and Heart," she says, for an energy boost. She also carries angel cards to stay calm. "Sometimes when stressed, I choose a card," Ingber says. "It calms me down and gives me a focus."
Don't go hungry: Ingber goes for bars that are jam-packed with healthy fruits, nuts, and superfoods -- like Greens Plus bars ($32 for a box of 12, greensplus.com), made with ingredients like almond butter, hemp protein, and dates, and KIND fruit bars ($1.49 each, kindsnacks.com), to sustain her during a power shopping trip.
