Great Kate! Kate Hudson played the supportive — and extremely sexy! — wife-to-be for Muse frontman Matt Bellamy at the Brit Awards in London on Wednesday, Feb. 20. Inside the 02 Arena, Bellamy, 32, and his bandmates performed with a 75-piece orchestra.

At the Warner’s afterparty held at the Savoy Hotel, however, it was Bellamy’s fiancee, 33, who was the real show-stopper. Nineteen months after welcoming son Bingham, the Oscar-nominated actress showed off her toned legs and toned shoulders in a lace black minidress by Ermanno Scervino — and got into the celebratory mood by jumping on the couch and dancing!

According to observers inside the bash, the happy couple kissed and hugged in front of many onlookers — with Hudson even smoking a verboten cigarette indoors. “Someone asked her to put it out and she didn’t mind. She put it in an empty bottle on the table and apologized,” one observer says. “She was really happy, dancing on the chair and Matt was pouring her drinks.”

“It’s party night! We’re having fun. Mom and Dad get the night off,” the Something Borrowed actresss (also mom to Ryer, her 9-year-old son with ex Chris Robinson) told Us Weekly at the Savoy, praising Bellamy’s performance with Muse. “Amazing. Just breath-taking. It was really spectacular!” (See more photos of Hudson and Bellamy via PopSugar!)

Hudson’s secret to her always enviable bod? “I like to dance. I’m dancing, and I do other things,” Hudson explained. “I spin, I ride my bike, I go for a run. I’m active. I run after my 19 month old!”

The one thing that’s slightly slowed down is Hudson’s work schedule — a necessity now that she’s a mom of two. “If someone says it’s a three month shoot, I get a little shy because with Ryder in third grade and Bing being 19 months,” she admitted. “It’s so much to juggle, so I’ve been doing films that are a little less time and I’m more specific about what they are and I don’t want to do work that will take me away from my kids, so I have to really love it.”
