On Monday, Sports Illustrated finally revealed its much anticipated pics of their Swimsuit issue with blonde beauty and soon-to-be-household name Kate Upton as its cover model.

The 19-year-old star equestrian turned supermodel poses in a teeny brown and red string bikini bottom and a matching triangle top that barely holds in her eye-popping assets.

While SI always features a scantily clad beauty on their cover, the 5-foot-10 teenage stunner's two-piece falls on the more scandalous end of the spectrum when compared to recent years.

In 2010, Brooklyn Decker (who was 22 at the time) went topless (she covered up her breasts with her arms) and wore a modest yellow bikini bottom. The following year, Russian model Irina Shayk (then 25) showed off her bod in a pink and yellow swimsuit that actually seemed to fit!

Since Upton appears to be two pieces of double-sided tape away from both a nip slip and exposing her unmentionables, we want your thoughts on her cover.

she is a beautiful young lady...i see nothing wrong with her pics

  • February 18, 2012 - 2:48pm Jacqui Fanning

She's a beautiful woman, but they really cheapened her.

man thats tight coverageâ?¦Sanchez will never hit that

SI has has fallen to new lows with this one. Just a kid. Does she have parents? What do they think?

  • February 16, 2012 - 12:14pm Bernard Buraczenski

I do not think the photograph of Kate Upton is flattering at all. The top barely covers her breasts and makes her look sloppy and flabby. Not a good look for a 19 year old young woman. Now ... if her intent is to wear as little as possible and still remain legal ... she and SI have gotten it done. Makes me yearn for the days when Cheryl Teigs and others graced the cover every February. Just one man's opinion.

SI looks like a Playboy Magazine. Doesn't look like a first class professional cover. I look a sexy woman, but nothing else. I don't see a super model o a fresh image. She es sexy, but I think she has a incorrect image in the cover.

Ummm...where's the swimsuit in that photo?? ...just asking...

  • February 15, 2012 - 10:10am Donna Koch

She's a beautiful girl, but I don't get the sense that this cover has anything to do with either the bikini or the beach location. It should have been a better picture.

  • February 15, 2012 - 6:39am Suki Yakitori

This isn't the most flattering photo of her that I've seen. It's a weird angle.

I think this particular photo would be more suited for Maxim maybe. However, this is still a mostly mens magazine so I can see as to why they decided to make this the cover. If any of you have noticed, our society is dressing more scantily clad and becoming sexually accepting of public exposition. But how far is to far?

  • February 15, 2012 - 12:21am Mara Schulte

I thinks she looks hot, you go girl!

  • February 15, 2012 - 12:05am Beth Minor

Not that I'm a hug fan of the itsy bitsy teenie weeny little bitty bikini, as a model, this cover is going to launch her career and make Kate a ton of $$$

  • February 14, 2012 - 11:41pm Christine Russell

Do you men have any respect for women? I don't have a problem with eye-candy...but I do have a problem with men who sexually objectify women. She's a beautiful girl with a beautiful body...I wish she'd had enough respect for herself to have insisted on a slightly larger bikini. No one wants to see anyone's junk.

Eric Denney: no s*&t, genius. Why would a woman approve of this cover? Are you really that dumb????

  • February 14, 2012 - 9:40pm Joy Banger

Michael Donella's comment is disgusting; the best example of the worst kinds of misogynistic male qualities. The woman kissing him sure is one lucky girl!

  • February 14, 2012 - 8:55pm Megan Miller

The SI cover is always too revealing and always boobalicious. It's a SWIMSUIT edition. Duh. However, as a new mom, I think grocery stores should move this particular SI issue out of plain sight. Kids are sexed up enough.

  • February 14, 2012 - 8:40pm Heather Hagen Halldin

Just remember that THIS magazine is in grocery stores, convenience stores - right at our kids' eye level. Nice. People would have a fit if Playboy is near the check out (rightfully so) but because this is SI it's OK to have this girl's vulva staring my kids in the face while we wait in line.

  • February 14, 2012 - 8:29pm Michael Donnella

The only people mad about this swimsuit are the fat whales who no one EVER wants to see in a 2 piece. Jealousy isn't a good color on all you nagging pigs who wished someone would look at you with anything but disgust and repulsion.

  • February 14, 2012 - 8:03pm Ana Pereira

@ Eric: that's true. It explains a lot. Women are sellective, women think and men don't! You guys just see a woman almost naked and you jump on her, like monkeys. You have no taste! Are you one of those who voted sexy? I'd say you would prefer one of the Village People guys! Just saying that I wouldn't think you would admire women...

  • February 14, 2012 - 7:23pm Jonathan Smith

It's a horrible cover. Kate takes better photos than this
