If ever there were an expert on all things sexy, it might just be Channing Tatum. And one of the things that the hunky 32-year-old actor finds sexy these days is his very pretty, very pregnant wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
"I think it's one of the sexiest things ever!" he told E! News about her pregnancy on a recent Super Bowl weekend tour of his New Orleans bar, Saints and Sinners. The proud dad-to-be also added that Dewan-Tatum has developed a sweet tooth during her pregnancy, a craving that he's more than happy to help her with.
"She never really ate sweets before, but she loves sweets now," he said. "She loves chocolate and that whole thing, but nothing really out of the ordinary, nothing like pickles and icing, nothing weird."
Tatum and his wife, also 32, announced their happy baby news back in December, and are "over the moon about becoming parents," a source told Us Weekly. Tatum in particular has “been wanting this a long time."
In fact, Tatum confirmed to Us just last week that he plans on taking a break from acting once the baby comes.
"The rest of this year is going to be pretty nuts," he said at the NYC premiere of crime drama thriller Side Effects. "We're going to take a break and my [production] partner [Reid Carolin] and I, we're going to try to, like, direct and do some things like that."
Tatum and Dewan-Tatum first met on the set of dance flick Step Up in 2006 and married in a beachside ceremony in Malibu, Calif. three years later, on July 11, 2009. But despite their excitement over their impending bundle of joy, there is one thing that Tatum admits he isn’t so anxious to learn: the gender of the baby.
"We don't know [if it's a boy or a girl]," the actor said. "We're going to be surprised. It's one of the only real surprises you're ever going to get that's legit!"
