Rebecca Gayheart, Eric Dane Welcome Baby Girl!

Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, a rep for the couple has announced.
The baby was born Wednesday in Los Angeles, rep Nanci Ryder tells the Associated Press.
"Mother, father and daughter are doing great," she said.
The baby's name was not released.

Gayheart, 38, and the Grey's Anatomy star, 37 -- who wed in Las Vegas in 2004 -- never formally announced the pregnancy, but Gayheart stepped out last September with a baby bump.
"I'm very curious what this next phase of my life is going to be like," Dane told UsMagazine.com at the 8th Annual World Poker Tour Invitational in L.A. "It's exciting. I feel like I've been sort of thumbing through the last page of the same chapter for a long time now and am ready to kind of get on with it."

Asked if they have the nursery ready, he said at the Feb. 20 event, "Oh yeah! And we are packing the bag tonight!"
He previously said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he planned on being in the delivery room for the birth.

"I'm going to stay close to my wife and make sure that she is all right," he said.
He said they even settled on a baby name, but "Rebecca wants to wait until she sees her before we give her the name."

Don't expect them to continue the celebrity trend of weird names. Of their baby's name, Dane told DeGeneres, "We went straight down the middle with this one."

Let me get this straight; Rebecca shouldn't be allowed to have happiness and should give her baby to the parents of the little boy she accidentally hit? That makes absolutely no sense! Rebecca made a mistake and she has to live with that for the rest of her life. It wasn't an accident, she wasn't paying attention, decided she was too important to wait behind the cars that were stopped letting the child cross, and decided she was sooo busy and important that she could use the turning lane to go straight and ran the poor child over while she was yapping on her phone. So SHE should be ASHAMED of HERSELF. It's not like the sun was in her eyes, she was deliberately careless, and while she lives everyday in the lap of luxury, that kids mother gets to live everyday in agony. There's nothing more annoying then self riteous people on these boards like rebekah, who think they need to reprimand people for their thoughts. Who cares if they do pot, its just pot. And she didn't murder the child, it was called an accident. It can happen to ANY driver on the road, easily. So don't judge her so harshly. If the daughter looks anything like rebecca, wow. If not, that little girl is going to feel like she has a lot to make up for in the personality department. Lastly...Eric dane seriously needs a moustache, do not like him without one.
