UPDATE! Hey there, little guy! Jaime King and husband Kyle Newman have welcomed their first child together -- a baby boy -- and his name is mommy-inspired! "Jaime King and Kyle Newman welcomed son James Knight Newman on October 6th," a rep for the actress, 34, told Us Weekly on Monday afternoon. James weighed in at 7 pounds 2 ounces.  "Mom and Baby are happy, healthy and are doing great," the rep adds.

Director Newman made the happy announcement on Twitter and Instagram on Sunday Oct. 6 -- adorably sharing the first-ever photo of their son via the social networking sites. For now, though, fans will only get a glimpse of the baby's tiny little hand, grasping what appears to be his father's finger. "Nice to meet you!" the Chewie director, 37, wrote in the caption. "#FATHER #IMADAD #BABYTIME @jaime_king is doing amazing! The most incredible feeling."

The Hart of Dixie actress, by contrast, pranked her fans on Instagram by sharing a screen shot from the Lion King, in which baby Simba is presented on the mount of a rock. "BABY'S FIRST PICTURE!!" she joked. King and Newman announced that she was pregnant back in May; they celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary next month and originally met on the 2005 set of Fanboys.

"There are a couple that I really like, but it has to go with the rest of my house because my house is mid-century. There are so many things when you're having a kid that you have to think about. It's overwhelming!"
