Exclusive: Khloe Kardashian: Why "I'm Scared" to Get Pregnant

Khloe Kardashian just celebrated her first wedding anniversary with Lamar Odom (he surprised her with a vow renewal!), but how soon until the happy couple starts a family?
"I want kids," Kardashian, 26, says in the new Us Weekly. "But I'm scared!" Her top concerns?

1. After watching sister Kourtney give birth to son Mason last December, Kardashian tells Us she's worried about the potential pain of labor. "Kourtney made it look easy, but I don't believe it," she tells Us. "I'm scared of the epidural needle in my back!"

2. "I'm scared of gaining weight and not being able to lose it after," says Khloe, who's joked about being "the fat one" among her sisters despite her 20-pound weight loss last year.
3. Finally, she's nervous about how her offspring would measure up to her adorable nephew Mason, 9 months. "Mason is so good, he never cries! I don't think that could happen twice in the family!"

i don't have any babies yet n i'm kinda scared myself but if that time ever comes, i know it will coome natural.
i'd b so happy for them if they were to get pregnant.....i like khloe and lamar alt...however i dont want her baby to come out lookin like scott for how much she dislikes him...lmao....i wish them the best of luck...they'er so cute together

aside from her whole comment about weight gain i understand her fear of labor pain and the epidural needle going in the back.
Don't be - you seem like the sis (no offense) who takes everything in stride & has a good head on her shoulders. You'll gain weight - every woman does - but you'll also lose it soon after. Don't let your fears keep you from starting your beautiful family w/your husband cause it's what God intends for you to do (he brought the two of you together). We can't wait to see your beautiful baby girl!
she is selfish and caught up in the fantasy that is hollywood...those fears are not typical nor are they rational...if someone really wants to bring another life into the world and they are capable, then those are not things to worry about...the biggest concern would be the baby. period. she has all the money she needs/wants that could help her 'lose the weight' or give her the meds needed to lessen the 'pain'...she just doesn't have the maturity or skills to look beyond the trivial and superficial. i feel so sorry for her. then again, i would feel sorry for the baby if one came along....

Her fears sound pretty normal. It doesn't mean she's going to let them control her decision to finally do it or not.
How quick everyone is to put her down for having fears. She's not selfish. She's scared. And if that stops her from having a baby, that's her decision. Since when is it ok to put others down for what they feel? Some of you are so hateful that perhaps you shouldn't have kids and bring them up thinking it's ok to hate and put others down for their thoughts and fears. I feel sorry for your kids being brought up by parents who are so quick to judge and be so hateful towards others.
Khloe should keep her mouth shut. saying she doesn't want kids because of fear of gaining too much weight is vain and heartless. if it was out of fear of a miscarriage I could see that cause it's not like it was in the old days where a star got time to grieve for that when it happened to them.
I can understand her concerns, I don't think it's shallow at all. I want kids too, but the labor pain is a major concern of mine too.
Her real fear should be the fact that any children she has will turn out like her. She's the most immature, selfish person I have ever seen or heard of. The way she treats her family is deplorable. She has the worst personality I have ever witnessed. Giving those qualities to any children she has SHOULD be the thing she fears! Omg Khloe go away already.
So what she doesn't want to have a baby because she doesn't want to gain weight? At least she is honest about it. That is one of my many concerns too. That's why I don't know if I want children.
She's not pregnant? Well, that's interesting, because not long ago she was about ready to take a pregnancy test, because all the tabloids kept saying she was. She was even second guessing herself. That's pretty bad. When she does get pregnant, she's probably going to wait for the tabloids to tell her she is, before she believe it herself. If she is so concerned about all the stuff above, then she SHOULDN'T have kids. It is a very selfish attitude, and her kids won't be like Mason. Hello!
