For Maci Bookout, 2016 has been full of surprises. Just two days after accepting Taylor McKinney’s January 19 proposal, the Teen Mom OG star learned she was pregnant with her third child. “I was at the doctor, ironically, to get my birth control prescription refilled,” the social-media consultant — who shares Bentley, 7, with ex Ryan Edwards, and Jayde, 8 months, with her countertop sales rep fiancé, 26, told Us Weekly. Her baby boy is due May 30, just one day after Jayde’s first birthday!
“It’s very possible we’ll have two under the age of 1,” the reality star revealed. “They’ll definitely be Irish twins!"
Even her son, Bentley, sees the humor in the situation. “He’s really excited to have a little brother,” Bookout, 24, shared. “But he thinks it’s hilarious that Jayde’s going to be a big sister because she’s so little!”
Though Bookout raved that McKinney “always spoils” her, she told Us that her love of three years (they’ll wed in October!) has been extra attentive lately.
“It’s even better when I have pregnancy to use as my defense,” the 16 and Pregnant alum quipped, laughing. “It’s like, ‘I need to sleep in today because I’m building a baby!’ He can’t really say anything to that!’
After No. 3 arrives, Bookout’s family will be complete. “There are going to be some permanent birth control decisions made immediately after the birth,” she vowed. “But it’s definitely a bonus to have it kind of done and out of the way. It’s done and we’re good to go!”
