This is no ordinary family trip. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West made sure their visit overseas was a special one, with lots of cultural experiences and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. Following their trip to Armenia, the couple flew via private plane to Israel, where they had daughter North baptized in the Holy Land, a rep for Kardashian confirms to Us Weekly.
According to local news reports, Nori, 21 months, was baptized at St. James Cathedral in the Armenian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. As seen on The Daily Mail, the trio were photographed walking the grounds of the church on Monday, April 13, with Kim's sister Khloe and several guards.
The reality star, 34, and West, 37, took turns carrying their little girl outside. Kardashian wore a champagne-and-gray pleated dress, while her rapper hubby sported all white — just like North!
The baptism followed a highly publicized trip to the Kardashians' ancestral homeland of Armenia, where they toured the sights and met with fans and dignitaries. On Thursday, April 9, the famed reality stars sat down with Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide.
Kim and Khloe also posed in front of the Mother Armenia statue and paid their respects at the Genocide memorial in the country's capital of Yerevan.
On their last night in Armenia, West performed a free concert on the banks of the famous Swan Lake, at one point wading into the water to get closer to fans. "Such an exciting crazy night!" Kim tweeted afterward. "So happy I got to rock out with everyone in Armenia on our last night here!!!! #EpicNight #ArmenianPride"
