Just one day before announcing she and on-again fiance Jay Cutler were expecting, the pregnant former Hills star stepped out to grab groceries in West Hollywood, Calif., Saturday wearing super sexy skinny jeans, a beige blouse and matching heels.

Although she hid her eyes under a pair of aviator sunglasses, it is clear the beaming star was on cloud nine. "She is really happy. She is in the early stages, but she can't wait to be a mom," a source tells Us Weekly of mom-to-be Cavallari, 24.
Though Cavallari and NFL player Cutler, 28, just announced their baby news to the world, the insider says close friends and family have known about their "surprise" pregnancy for a few weeks.

Despite calling off their engagement in July 2011 after just three months, the couple -- who were introduced by E! News host Giuliana Rancic in 2010-- reunited in November 2011 and couldn't be more in love.

"[Jay] absolutely adores her, he worships the ground she walks on and she is so in love with him," says the source. "This is a real match, they are made for one another. Everyone is so happy that they are going to have a baby together. She's going to be a great mom."

21There are some really bitter and jaded people who comment on here.... attempting to be happy for a couple who appear happy for themselves must be such a stretch. I think they are both able to afford a child AND they both seem to be happy to be on this journey with one another. So congrats!!! Lord knows I have seen so many people that are UNHAPPY when they get this news.

@Kristina she's only like 3 months so she's not gonna actually look pregnant for a while yet. though I agree with you I love it when women wear their pregnancies proudly it's a miracle to be able to have children though the miracle doesn't always work out and besides the failure rate of oral birth control is between 3 -8% so a couple hundred thousand births annually are actual surprises

If a man is too 'lazy' to protect himself then the woman is not demanding it either. If you don't want to get pregnant and are making adult choices, you can't blame a pregnancy on either one of the parties involved.
To those saying men should put on a condom--yes, they should, but most are too lazy and selfish to do so. And they believe it when a woman says she's on birth control. I agree they are willing participants, but the reality is that it's usually women who have to shoulder the burden of birth control.

It takes TWO to get pregnant. If HE did not want a baby HE should use a condom....They were already ENGAGED so to say she TRAPPED him is STUPID. BUT for them to say the pregnancy was a surprise, THAT is also STUPID. You have sex, unprotected= PREGNANCY!!! Isn't this common knowledge by now?

Andrea--they use it when it's convenient for them. When they want to try to trap someone, theh conveniently "forget" to use it. But this won't last; she'll end up alone with a baby, and will probably regret it all.
