Ryan Reynolds has an interesting proposal for pregnant wife Blake Lively — and it involves some possible baby names for their son or daughter-to-be. On Saturday, Oct. 18, the Green Lantern actor received a star on Canada's Walk of Fame in Toronto, where he chatted with CTV entertainment show eTalk about his and Lively's plans for their little one.
"On the plane over here I was trying to think of baby names," the 37-year-old dad-to-be told eTalk (via Access Hollywood). "I don't want a name that's anything pretentious or, like, Hollywoody. So I'm going with Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds…that's if it's a girl," he quipped.
And if he has a son instead? "If it's a boy, Bruce Jenner," the Vancouver-born hunk replied, referring to Kris Jenner's estranged former Olympian husband.
This will be the first child for Reynolds and his wife, 27, who married in 2012. Lively herself revealed the pregnancy news via her lifestyle website Preserve on Oct. 6, with a picture of her blossoming baby bump.
Days after the announcement, the Gossip Girl alum hit the red carpet at the God's Love We Deliver, Golden Heart Awards in New York City, where she gushed to Us Weekly about her excitement over becoming a mom.
"It's something that I've always wanted ever since I was a little girl," she shared. "I never knew what I wanted to do for a living, but I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I had come from a big family, so it was always important to me."
