Track Palin, Wife Britta Welcome Baby Girl

Grizzly grandma!

Sarah Palin's son Track and his wife Britta welcomed a baby girl Sunday, a source confirms to Us Weekly.

A rep for the Palin family confirmed to Us in May that Track, 22, and his high school sweetheart, Britta, said "I do" in Hatcher Pass, Alaska. "Our families couldn't be happier," the bride and groom's families said in a joint statement. "These are two hard working, humble, active, studious young adults who grew up together. We're tickled that after two decades of friendship we proudly witnessed their marriage, knowing their new life together will be blessed."

The former Vice Presidential candidate, 47, first became a grandmother in 2008 when Bristol, 20, gave birth to her son Tripp.

In addition to his sister Bristol, Track has two sisters -- Willow, 16, and Piper, 10 -- and a 2-year-old brother, Trig.

From general observation over six decades, those who live their lives taking large bites are happier and more successful. Both Track Palin and his wife Britta appear to be the large bite type. For them, knowing they could make a baby was important, so they did then married. They are both adults, its their lives and more power to them. Baby first wedding second was their decision not ours so but out.

Big whoop.. a whole nine days. Many a child has insisted on vacating that confined space early. Now for all you who want a shotgun wedding for Sarah and Tod, sorry, but they got married, conceived the first day of wedded bliss and Track was in a hurry. Any thing else is mindless speculation and dwelling in the gutter.

Anybody starting a pool on when 16-year-old Willow gets knocked up? I want in.

@Kristen Faulkner I agree with the "those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" comment but I think what angers people is the QUICKNESS Palin has to be so overly judgmental and critical of others when her own family apparently can't live up to her standards. She and her husband apparently can't get their OWN kids to buy into their values yet she's preaching to the nation about morals and abstinence, etc...or is it just okay when her family and those she "approves" of does it?? come on now..that's a hypocrite.

Am I the only one who thinks the names she gave those kids were Sarah's first cry for help??? How many more do we ignore?

I don't mean to drag Sarah Palin throught the mud. But, WHAT'S UP WITH ALL THESE UNWED MAMA PALIN'S and shotgun weddings?? Sarah Palin had a shotgun wedding to Todd. She was married 8/29/88, Track was born 4/20/89. We know the deal with Bristol. Come to find out, Track's May wedding was shotgun just like his mother's. USE BIRTH CONTROL, PALIN FAMILY. ABSTINENCE DOESN'T WORK.

By the way Track and Britta have been married over a year I think - this article is misleading, and they got married the same time most people in the sixties did - not wait for 45 and have several live in boyfriends, then some donor egg kid at 90.

The Evangelicals are not hard working - take it from someone who has been in these churches for 30 years. One step up from an illegal and a black criminal whom they could have in abundance if they would witness to them (I am not a Democrat either). The men are terrible to women too - they stink - much of my family all worked hard to get through Yale (uncle three years to get through Yale, then Columbia physicians and Surgeons) then was head of medical forces at El Alamein. I was told to dummy down and I work too hard (which is FEMINIST), then when had stroke like head injury trying to bring minorities, lower middle class and middle class people into my own business program, the blue colar idiots told me I was lazy - even psychotic and head injured I have worked harder than these boobs (but I am for the Tea Party). I am not for Khloe, Kim or Kylie or Khortney or any of the Mugabe loving atheistic press, nor do I want the real church of Jesus Christ to go away, just want to share with you being treated as garbage because smart Darien girl with no moral support, so they could bash me after getting bashed by anti-Christian, cutthroat real world. By the way, Hollywood has some really wierd names like Apple, Bronx Mowgli, Pilot Inspecktor, etc. I wish we have never left the era of Ike, JFK and Johnson. I remember saner times - those were the Halcyon days.

Amanda Krzywonos -- You're complaining about weird names, but your last name is weirder yet. I agree that Track, Trigg, and Tripp are odd names, but Britta is a very common name in Sweden. The girl clearly has Scandinavian roots. Sarah Palin shouldn't have sent her kids to public school if she wanted them to be abstinate. Who do the kids spend more time with, the parents or the government brainwashers? (Hint: NOT the parents)

    thanks

give it a rest and on the bashing of the palins for f**ks sakes!

  • August 09, 2011 - 12:26am John Tiltan

Sorry Kristen Faulkner, you might wanna take a look at the date Sarah was married and when Track was born - definitely a shotgun wedding! The whole family is TRASH. And gee, how are all those abstinence talks going?! Can you spell HYPOCRITE?

  • August 09, 2011 - 12:07am Kristen Faulkner

Some of you commenters really are ignorant. Sarah isn't the one who got pregnant out of wedlock. So what if her kids did? And, "another shotgun wedding"? When was the first? Not practicing what they preach would be to have the kids get abortions and cover it up. That didn't happen. The family seems to practice what they preach that all life is precious. Everyone needs to quit bashing this family for everything they do or don't do. You know the whole "those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" saying? I could care less about politics and this is why- it's nothing but bashing for no reason.

The former Vice Presidential candidate, 47, first became a grandmother in 2008 when Bristol, 20, gave birth to her son Tripp. My boyfriend thinks the same with me. He is eight years older than me, lol. We met online at agelesscupid.c om a nice and free place for younger women and older men, or older women and younger men, to interact with each other. Maybe you wanna check it out or tell your friends.

  • August 08, 2011 - 10:08pm Janell Toppen
