"It's amazing. It's a rocket ride," Alan told Us of Robin's hit song "Blurred Lines." "I'm thrilled for him. I've always dabbled in music. If I could have grown up to be Robin Thicke, I would have. But I'm glad somebody in the family did."

The Growing Pains star is as equally thrilled for actress Patton. "She has a great movie, Baggage Claim, and is getting wonderful reviews for that," he gushed.

In a recent joint interview with Prestige Hong Kong Magazine, the spouses spilled the secrets to their happy marriage and how they help each other through the tough times. "I don't know if I would still be alive in some ways if it wasn't for Paula," Thicke said. "She's been my rock, my muse, my inspiration and I love her. The whole way."

"I've been there for his down moments and he's been there for mine," Patton, 37, added. "Life is full of peaks and valleys. Robin has always been a great person to remind me to celebrate now. Even when it looks like I've got a role but don't know for sure, he's like, 'Let's celebrate!'"
