Muva is a secret Swiftie! Amber Rose voiced her support for Taylor Swift’s budding romance with Tom Hiddleston during a recent interview with The Daily Beast, published on Saturday, June 18.
The Amber Rose Show host defended T. Swift, 26, against critics who have bashed the singer for moving on with Hiddleston, 35, just two weeks after breaking up with Calvin Harris.
“And I feel like guys do that all the time — they break up and the next day, they’re with another girl and nobody really says anything,” the How to Be a Bad Bitch author, 32, told the outlet. “But with Taylor it’s, you know what, I’m done with Calvin [Harris] and it didn’t work out, so on to the next.”
As Us Weekly previously reported, Swift ended her relationship with Harris, 32, in May after nearly 15 months of dating. “It just wasn’t working anymore,” a source explained to Us at the time. “She’s OK.”
On Tuesday, June 14, the former country starlet was caught kissing Hiddleston near her seaside home in Rhode Island. “They were all over each other — hugging and kissing — even though there were 20 people coming and going on the beach,” an eyewitness told The Sun of the pair’s PDA. “They looked like any young couple madly in love without a care in the world.”
Two days later, the Scottish DJ broke his silence on his ex’s rebound romance. “All good,” Harris nonchalantly told paparazzi. “[She’s] just doing her thing.”
“[The criticism of Swift] is because it’s unheard of, and she’s acting very ‘slutty’ and for some reason needs time to ‘let her p–sy rest,'” Rose told The Daily Beast. “That’s how people look at it, and it’s just like, hell no! If I’m done, why do I have to sit in the house and be lonely?”
Interestingly, the pop star and the model have more in common than one may think: They share a mutual frenemy in Kanye West.
Swift’s bad blood with the rapper, 39, dates back to 2009, when Yeezy stormed the stage to hijack her MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech, touting the talent of his pal Beyoncé. While they later patched things up and remained friendly for several years, Swift and West’s feud reignited in February 2016 after the hip-hop star dropped his track “Famous,” in which he brags: “I feel like me and Taylor Swift might still have sex, I made that bitch famous.”
West and his wife, Kim Kardashian, have alleged that Swift approved the controversial line, but the “Shake It Off” songstress has vehemently refuted that claim.
