Getting personal! Ben Affleck was unceremoniously unmasked in the latest teaser trailer that dropped during the Monday, Nov. 30 episode of Gotham — and the Internet approved!

Appropriately enough, Fox's young Bruce Wayne drama was picked to showcase the latest sneak peek of the much-hyped upcoming movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Affleck's Batman is seen coming face-to-face with Henry Cavill's Superman in the abridged version of the full trailer, which will air during Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, Dec. 2.

In the clip, Superman approaches Batman, who has been strung up by his wrists which are held high above his head, and rips off his mask.

Affleck looks sufficiently brooding to be every inch the superhero as Cavill's Superman snarls in his direction in a moment of big screen intensity!

No sooner had the trailer dropped that it started trending, and fans posted their reactions online.

"Trailers for trailers are lame, but this #BatmanvSuperman sneak peek gets a pass. WOW!" responded on Twitter user.

"This #BatmanvSuperman teaser trailer is FANTASTIC!" replied another.

Even Cavill himself tweeted out a link for the trailer with the caption, "Angry Superman is a sight to behold! How many times have you watched it?"
