Blake Shelton knows what he likes to see on girlfriend Gwen Stefani. On Sunday, April 3, the country crooner took to Twitter to tell his lady love that he was really into the space shorts she donned during an intergalactic-theme skit on the April 2 episode of Saturday Night Live.
“Hey @gwenstefani… Please wear space pants when you get back home!!! Ha!!!!” Shelton, 39, jokingly tweeted about Stefani’s hilariously unexpected sartorial choice.

The “Used to Love You” singer, 46, was quick to appease her man’s request. Posting a sexy shot of herself rocking the solar system–inspired hot pants, she wrote: “@blakeshelton got in the suitcase gx.”
The Grammy winner accompanied host Peter Dinklage last night for an outstanding episode of SNL. While Stefani served as the musical guest, she also made use of her musical chops by joining the Game of Thrones star to sing a ridiculous (although very catchy) song about out-of-this-world style.
A bewigged Dinklage, wearing space pants and nailing the robot, spits out clever lyrics such as: “Look at my pants with the eyes in your face / My legs are covered in outer space!”
“My shorts are from a galaxy far, far away,” Stefani raps about her cropped version of the extraterrestrial trend.
“Oh, damn, that’s really her!” somebody yells in the sketch. “Why the hell is Gwen Stefani hanging out with space pants?”
