Shahs of Sunset‘s GG confirmed her engagement on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live December 9, 2012, but one month later, the costars parted ways. “I appreciate that Omid sees past my exterior,” the reality star said shortly after her engagement. “I will always cherish the man that he is.”
Shullenbarger popped the question to Meler during their season’s reunion show seven months ago. The moment, however, wasn’t much of a shock to Catfish creators Nev Schulman and Max Joseph.

“I did know it was coming, as did Max,” Schulman told Us exclusively at the time. “Max and I bought Derek the engagement ring so that he could propose because he needed help paying for it,” he explained. “We went with him that morning and it was really sweet.”
After just six months of dating, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries confirmed their engagement in May 2011. The duo said “I do” in Montecito, California in August 2011, but called it quits 72 days later.
“I’m really impressed by them,” he added. “She’s got a lot going on and they’ve managed to figure out how to live together and make this work.” (Meler previously suffered a miscarriage after 10 weeks of pregnancy with the couple’s baby last September. She already shares son Mason with an ex-boyfriend.)
