As she approaches the one-year anniversary of her December 2011 engagement to John Legend, model Chrissy Teigen is no bridezilla. In fact, she hasn't had too much time to worry about planning her wedding in the first place.
"We're so busy and you forget how quickly it creeps up," Teigen, 26, told Us Weekly at Wednesday's Somaly Mam Foundation Gala in New York City. "It took six months but we finally submitted our guest list. We're looking at [a ceremony in the] spring or summer, but all we have is the guest list."
Hinting to Us that she and "Ordinary People" crooner Legend, 33, will tie the knot in a "random" location, Teigen has crossed one major to-do off her wedding prep list: She's found her dream dress!
"I'm doing Vera [Wang]. There's nothing like putting on a Vera. The difference is so amazing. You feel like a princess," gushed the Sports Illustrated model, who accepted Legend's proposal — and a stunning square cut diamond engagement ring — while on vacation in the Maldives.
Declining to go into additional specifics about her dress, Teigen anticipates that she'll blow the socks off her fiance when walking down the aisle. "John thinks that I'm going to wear something super sexy and fitted, but he has no idea!" said Teigen.
