Fight night = date night? Demi Lovato and UFC fighter Luke Rockhold held hands on what appeared to be a date night at Madison Square Garden in NYC on Saturday, November 12.
The “Confident” singer, 24, got all dolled up for the night on the town in a formfitting black dress with a black blazer wrapped around her shoulders. Lovato wore her wavy brown hair down and accessorized with black pumps and a small black clutch.
Rockhold, 32, looked dapper for the big fight between Connor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez, wearing a black suit and slacks with a crisp white shirt.
When the pair took their seats in the historic arena, cameras caught Rockhold’s left arm wrapped around the singer. They waved for the crowd, with Lovato giving a small smile.
In September, an insider told Us that the twosome were just enjoying their time together but weren’t looking to make things too serious too soon.
“She’s just trying to have fun right now,” the source told Us. “They’ve been talking, hanging out and hooking up, and they like each other. They’re both having fun with it and enjoying it for what it is.”
Speculation about the new couple swirled when the former UFC middleweight champion posted an image to his Instagram of a smiley-face tattoo on his little finger. Three days later, Lovato shared a video on Instagram of her finger with the same little doodle.
In July, Lovato was linked to MMA pro fighter Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos, hot on the heels of her split from longtime love Wilmer Valderrama, who she dated for six years.
