A late-summer fling. Demi Lovato is dating UFC fighter Luke Rockhold, and an insider tells Us Weekly they’re enjoying it while it lasts.
“She’s just trying to have fun right now,” the insider tells Us. “They’ve been talking, hanging out and hooking up, and they like each other.”
The insider adds that the buff athlete has no desire to settle down, and the “Confident” singer, 24 — who split with Wilmer Valderrama in June — is content to keep things casual.
“They’re both having fun with it and enjoying it for what it is,” the insider says.
The pair have been sending each other sweet secret messages on social media, according to TMZ. Last month, the former UFC middleweight champ posted a pic on Instagram that showed a smiley-face tattoo on his little finger. Three days later, the former Disney star shared a video on Instagram of her finger with the same doodle, writing, “Cause life’s too short to not tattoo your pinky.”
Lovato, who dated Valderrama, 36, for six years, was most recently linked to MMA pro fighter Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos and NFL star Odell Beckham Jr.
The former That ’70s Show star has also moved on, with former flame Minka Kelly. The pair, who dated back in 2012, were spotted in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, over the Labor Day weekend.
The “Stone Cold” singer posted a cryptic tweet on Thursday, September 1, that fans thought was directed at her ex. “You have to be capable of being honest with yourself before you can get honest with other people,” she wrote.
Lovato is “not thrilled” about Valderrama rekindling a romance with Kelly, 36, according to the insider. “It is kind of questionable that he would be with someone he’s already dated,” the insider tells Us. “It was obviously easy for him to fall back on something that he knows is a sure thing.”
