Second time’s a charm? Wilmer Valderrama and Minka Kelly are seeing each other again, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly. The pair, who first dated back in 2012 following Kelly’s split from Derek Jeter, went on a dinner date at Palms Thai restaurant in Hollywood Wednesday, August 31. A source tells Us that the two rekindled about a month ago.
According to an eyewitness, the pair’s outing definitely “looked like a date.”
The pair were first linked to each other in 2012, amid Minka’s on-and-off romance with Jeter at the time. “Well, Minka Kelly and Wilmer Valderrama have been friends for a long time, and that’s all there is to it,” he coyly answered Ryan Seacrest during a radio interview at the time.
Their outing comes just three months after Valderrama and his girlfriend of six years, Demi Lovato, called it quits.
“After almost 6 loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship,” the “Confident” singer, 24, and That ’70s Show alum, 36, wrote in a post they shared on their Instagram accounts in June. “This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends. We will always be supportive of one another.”
As previously reported by Us, Lovato went on a date with Odell Beckham Jr. this past July. The pair cozied up at New York City’s Hunt & Fish Club restaurant.
“They weren’t making out or anything, but it looked like a date,” a source told Us at the time. “They were laughing and having fun. They looked like they hit it off!”
The singer and NFL star’s outing came after Lovato was linked to MMA pro fighter Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos.
