Sing it, girl! Demi Lovato covered Adele’s powerful ballad “When We Were Young” at the Cleveland, Ohio, stop of her Future Now tour on Friday, September 2, and she absolutely nailed it.

The 24-year-old “Confident” singer took to the stage clad in a long-sleeve white lace corset top and thigh-high boots that showed off her enviable figure, and she captured the audience’s attention from her very first note.

Lovato told fans that this was one of her “favorite songs,” and she packed a punch to the soaring track. (Last year, the former Disney star caused a similar ruckus when she delivered a soulful version of Adele’s “Hello” at Seattle’s KIIS-FM Fall Ball in November 2015.)

Her tour with pal Nick Jonas has included several surprises for fans, including guest appearances by Brad Paisley, Jamie Foxx, T.I. and Andra Day. The duo have also covered Prince’s “Purple Rain” and Desiigner’s “Panda.”

“Studio bound … So excited for y’all to hear new music,” Lovato tweeted on Saturday, September 3.

The Future Now tour will come to a close on Saturday, September 17, in Los Angeles, after which Lovato and Jonas, 23, will briefly tour Mexico in October.
