Drew Barrymore is releasing a collection of autobiographical essays on growing up famous and her life as a mom.

Drew Barrymore's ready to share the most intimate details of growing up Barrymore. One year after releasing Find It in Everything, her heartwarming collection of photographs, the mom of two has inked a deal to write autobiographical essays for Dutton publishing, the Penguin Group imprint said Feb. 26.

The daughter of Jaid and John Barrymore, Barrymore will open up about branching out to live on her own at 14, and her father's death, among other topics that proved inspirational for the star.

"I love stories that are humorous, emotional and welcoming, and that is my goal in writing this book," the actress told Us Weekly of her as-yet-untitled book.

Barrymore's publisher also confirms the E.T. actress will detail her life as a mom, which is said to be "the most important thing in her life." Married to Will Kopelman since 2012, Barrymore – who just celebrated her 40th birthday on Feb. 22 — is mom to daughters Olive, 2 and Frankie, 10 months.

Barrymore previously opened up about her life — including her alcohol and drug use as a teen — in the 1991 memoir she coauthored, Little Girl Lost.
