Still carrying a torch! French Montana opened up to Us Weekly exclusively about the love he still bears for his ex-girlfriend Khloe Kardashian at Power 105.1's Powerhouse 2014 in New York City on Thursday, Oct. 30.

"Our relationship – you break up you make up, you break up you make up," the rapper, 29, told Us of his split from Kardashian, 30. "We went through that a couple times. You never know."

Us Weekly broke the news that Montana and Kardashian split last month after eight months together. The reality star told Us this week that the pair is still friendly, explaining, "There's no bad blood or anything."

Indeed, the "Pop That" performer told Us there's still "big-time" hope that they'll get back together. He was Kardashian's first serious relationship since she filed for divorce from her estranged husband Lamar Odom in December 2013.

"She's my baby forever," Montana told Us of Kardashian. "She's good. She's the best. There's no bad blood with her. I love how she is. She inspires me as a person. I'm sure I inspire her in many different ways. We just have that special relationship. Right now we're in a special zone… She's a beautiful person. I don't think a lot of people know how beautiful she is."

He went on to hint that he and Kardashian may already have quietly reconciled. "You never know, we might be together," he said. "We might not. It's a great thing to keep it in the air."

Montana, who is releasing his next album Mac & Cheese 4 later this year, is keeping close to the Kardashian family, as he recently collaborated with Kim Kardashian's husband Kanye West. "I just left him now at the studio," he told Us of West, adding with a laugh, "He'd make a good brother-in-law!"
