He’s still got a ring on it! Gavin Rossdale stepped out for coffee in L.A.'s Studio City neighborhood on Friday, Nov. 6, with a camoflage-print bag slung over his left shoulder, as well as another noticeable accessory: his wedding ring.
The Bush frontman, 50, has remained relatively mum since Us Weekly broke news that his ex-wife, Gwen Stefani, is now dating her fellow Voice coach, Blake Shelton, but his wedding band seemed to make a clear statement.
That same day, Stefani, 46, opened up for the first time about her new relationship with Shelton, 39, telling 103.7 KVIL’s #Uncorked hosts Leigh Ann and Courtney that she thinks her new man is “a pretty rad guy.”
“There’s been loads of people that have helped me with this tragedy,” Stefani told the radio hosts of her support system through her divorce from Rossdale earlier this year after 13 years of marriage. “There’s definitely key people that have pointed me into the right direction. Blake really helped me. [And] not to change the subject, but it’s kinda on the same subject, Pharrell was literally like a guardian angel.”
The two Voice coaches confirmed their romance on Wednesday, Nov. 4, just hours ahead of the 2015 CMA Awards, and were photographed holding hands at an after party later that night.
“Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating,” Stefani’s spokesperson told Us prior to the awards show.
Though Friday may have been the first time the “Hollaback Girl” singer has directly addressed her relationship with Shelton, she didn’t hold back when speaking about her struggles prior to her divorce from Rossdale in an interview for the December issue of InStyle.
“In the beginning, I didn’t want to think of myself as a mother. I was like, ‘Wait a minute! Ain’t no hollaback girl is who I am!’ I had to learn to accept it,” she told the magazine. “Being a mother and having a career — those are just different roles you play. You’re still the same person you were before, but now you’re more because you’re a mother, too, with a lot to do.”
Stefani and Rossdale share three sons together — Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 20 months.
