As the Contagian actress celebrates her 39th birthday Tuesday, Us Weekly has compiled some of her most ridiculous quotes over the years.

The foodie -- who released her first cookbook, My Father's Daughter, in April 2011 -- doesn't bite her tongue when it comes to fine cuisine, either. "I'd rather smoke crack than eat cheese from a tin," she said at the iTunes Festival in July 2011. (Six years earlier, Paltrow proclaimed: "I would rather die than let my kid eat Cup-a-Soup.")

There was one quote I was told a while ago about how she said something about being classy, and all women should have chanel in your closet. Something about saving up and splurging on the Chanel dress and how there was no excuse not to. I am sorry but if I have to choose between one article of clothing, or 4 car payments, 3 mortgage payments, 6 ipods for christmas presents, 30 tanks of gas, 5 "stocking up" grocery store trips, or 2 paid in full (including books) semesters of college, I think I will go with that. The thing is Gwen your talents didn't bring you money, or fame, your already known and rich daddy did. You never really had to TRY. You never really had to WORK FOR something you wanted. God back to freaking England if it is soooo great. You can't relate to, or understand how the rest of the world works, you don't like that people who are not in Hollywood can BARELY afford cup-o-soup, then leave, because we don't want you either. You and Johnny Depp can have a bikini wax date in Paris.
