Hayden Panettiere's wedding planning is more challenging than most brides'. Not only does she have to coordinate between her family in the U.S. and her fiancé Wladimir Klitschko's brood in the Ukraine, but the current fighting in the Eastern European nation has put all of her plans on the back burner.
"Everything that’s happening in Ukraine definitely put a hold on things. But we have time," the Nashville star, 24, told Parade Magazine on April 26.
The actress announced her engagement to the professional boxer back in October 2013, and appeared on the cover of the April/May issue of Brides.
"It means a lot when you experience life with someone, then you experience life without him and decide that you don't want to live without him," Panettiere said of her future husband in the cover story.
For now, she will enjoy being engaged until the political situation abroad settles. In the meantime, she doesn't mind getting frisky with her fiancé.
Though she doesn't physically fight him—"That would be a one-way session!"—"I have tried to chase Wlad around the ring, but it’s a losing battle. I have to catch him off guard," she told Parade.
