Outfitted for success! On Wednesday, June 10, presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton joined Instagram and shared her first post.
“Hard choices,” she captioned the photo of a rack of cherry red, white, and royal blue suits.
Clinton, 67, who has often been called out for her suits in the media, seemed to have no problem getting in on the joke with the pic. “Hard Choices” is also the title of Clinton’s 2014 memoir.
The Instagram profile for @hillaryclinton reads, “Doting grandmother, among other things. #Hillary2016.”
The Democratic candidate already has thousands of followers on her new social media platform, and Instagram isn’t her only link to her supporters. The former Secretary of State is also active on Twitter, where she recently favorited an exchange between her husband, Bill Clinton, and President Barack Obama, who joined the social media site in May.
“Welcome to @Twitter, @POTUS! One question: Does that username stay with the office? #askingforafriend,” Bill tweeted.
“Good question, @billclinton,” Obama replied. “The handle comes with the house. Know anyone interested in @FLOTUS?”
It might need to be changed to “@FGOTUS” come 2016.
