Sorry ladies, Sam Claflin is officially a married man! The Hunger Games: Catching Fire star quietly tied the knot with his fiancee, actress Laura Haddock, in a recent wedding ceremony, a source confirms to Us Weekly. Images from the private affair surfaced online on Tuesday, July 30, after a pal posted an adorable snapshot of the happy newlyweds slicing into a towering wedding cake together.

UPDATE: On Thursday, Aug. 1, Claflin's rep told Us, "We can confirm that Sam Claflin and Laura Haddock are married."

Claflin and Haddock, both 27, have been engaged for more than a year and a half, and have both spoken out about their relationship on multiple occasions.

"How do I know she's the one?" Claflin said in a May 2012 interview. "She's my female counterpart is the best way to describe her. She is my mum … She reminds me of my mum so much which I think — a guy will know, right? It's important. Your mum knows like everything."

The pair first met during an audition, the actor explained, and he knew right away that Haddock was the one for him.

"I called my agent, I said, 'Mate, I am in love,'" the self-professed romantic said. "He's like, 'How did the audition go, mate?' I was like, 'No, no, you don't understand. I have just met the woman I want to marry.'"

The pair then had a chance run-in on the London subway later that evening and continued to stay in touch. "We started Skyping and I flew her out to L.A. and then here we are," he said at the time.

For her part, Haddock told Empire magazine earlier this year that though she finds Claflin's pin-up status "funny," she does acknowledge her beau's sex appeal.

"Well, he is very sexy," she told the magazine in May. "But he's really not very serious. You know, he looks gorgeous in that film. But if you said that to him, he'd say, 'What? Me? I'm from Norwich!'"

In addition to starring opposite Jennifer Lawrence, Claflin also previously played leading man to Kristen Stewart's titular role in Snow White and the Huntsman.
