Going public! New couple Jake Gyllenhaal and Alyssa Miller were photographed together for the first time on Sunday, July 14, in New York City. The End of Watch actor, 32, and the Sports Illustrated model, 24, held hands after leaving brunch at Hudson Clearwater. The pair were joined by Gyllenhaal's mother, director Naomi Foner, and Miller's dog, Charlie.
That same weekend, the new loves were spotted being affectionate near New York University. "They were sharing dessert off a plate as they were walking down the street," an onlooker tells Us Weekly. "He held the plate and she fed him a bite — it was adorable!"
Gyllenhaal and Miller were first linked in late June. "They met at their gym," a source said at the time. "They really like each other, but it's new." The Love & Other Drugs actor briefly dated another Sports Illustrated model, Emily DiDonato, earlier this year.
Prior to romancing Miller, Gyllenhaal's last serious relationship was with country singer Taylor Swift; they dated from October 2011 to January 2012. The Source Code star previously dated Kirsten Dunst (2002 to 2004) and Reese Witherspoon (2007 to 2009).
